Magaling : Doncaster 8-10                                  Race Date 16/05/2009

A nice evening meeting at Doncaster for this one and although it was far tighter win than expected it did managed to prevail at odds of 7/1. Trained by L M Cumani and excellently ridden in a tight finish by Dane O’Neill this horse was showing odds of 14/1 with Coral in the morning.

On the day Jadwiz Racing said, “Ran in a very good maiden at Goodwood last July finishing two and a half lengths 4th to Gyr and then going on to win at Yarmouth over six furlongs.

Carries top weight in this handicap but it could turn out that this colt is well weighted. Not been out since last season so fitness cannot be taken for granted but trainers horse are performing. Early price is an attractive 12/1 with Coral.”

Respite was the fav after its odds on win last time out, but that was the all weather, but Magaling, a 3yo colt, was having its first run in a handicap and took full advantage.
