Finding winners at Royal Ascot is never easy but
it can be made less stressful by analysing the Jadwiz ratings and
narrowing things down to a more acceptable level which I have done here.
the years since 2008 the ratings which have worked best are the horse
ratings and I think this is because the Royal Ascot meeting is all about
class and that is why it pays to follow these ratings especially in
In these non-handicap races we should only be looking at 3yo colts
and the most likely reason why this works so well is that 2yo runners
have only just began their racing.
What else do we know about this meeting, well first thing is everyone
wants to win and at this time of the year with evening racing the top
jockeys are busy so by late afternoon they tend to start to tire which
means don’t back them after the 3.55 race at the latest.
So basically we are looking for a 3yo colt running before 4pm in a
non-handicap race which is in the first three of the Jadwiz horse
ratings marked _H_ in our form guide.
There is one final thing we could do if you wish to improve this even
more and that would be to make sure the runner is not in the first three
with any of our other ratings which tends to have a negative effect.
There you have it a simple and effective method of finding winners at
this year’s Royal Ascot meeting.
