Race Nights
Evening racing...
Instead of a day at the races why not try a night at the
races instead. Evening racing generally takes place during the
summer months but with the advent of floodlighting at
Wolverhampton and Kempton it now takes place all year round.
Some race nights are attended by large crowds especially at
the likes of
Chester Racecourse and it is advisable to book early to
avoid disappointment. Others such as Newmarket Racecourse have
live bands after racing and these types of race nights have
increased in recent years and are very popular.
There are other types of race nights which are regularly held
at Wolverhampton Racecourse and these are themed race nights.
Saturday night at Wolverhampton races in mid winter might not be
everyone's cup of tea but are well attended and if you have
never been to a floodlit meeting its well worth a visit.
Another evening meeting that is well worth a visit is
Windsor
Racecourse with their regular Monday night meeting which are
held throughout the summer months. An added bonus with this
racecourse is you can arrive by boat by taking the ferry across
the river, how cool is that.
